Experience

Linda Johanek, Owner of LDJ Consulting, LLC, is an accomplished executive with more than 20 years of experience with nonprofit leadership, organizational development, strategic growth planning and design, project management, fund development, partnership formation systems change, advocacy, and multi-disciplinary collaboration. Her commitment to social impact has guided her career as an executive, board member, community leader, and advocate.

Committed to nonprofit performance, she is a Leap Ambassador and served as Senior Director of the Leap Ambassadors Community, a global group of 350 nonprofit thought leaders, leader practitioners, forward-looking funders, policymakers, and instigators. Having facilitated an international online learning community provides distinct proficiencies in relationship building, engagement, and knowledge development.  

Linda served as CEO of Cleveland’s Domestic Violence & Child Advocacy Center, after her roles as Fund Development Director, crisis counselor, and group facilitator. She oversaw two capital campaigns, program expansion, and implemented national model programs, such as the multi-disciplinary collaboration of the Child Advocacy Center. Linda also successfully led all aspects of a complex  nonprofit merger in the child and family services sector. 

At Cleveland State University (CSU), Linda was a Faculty Liaison between undergraduate/graduate students in their social work internships and CSU Social Work Department. She was also an Assistant Teacher for a Mediation Graduate course at CSU, a Mediator with Cleveland Mediation Center, and a Trainer of Mediators.

Linda has served on nonprofit and funding boards, including Ohio State University Cooperative Extension, Community Shares, Cleveland Mediation Center, President of the Ohio Domestic Violence Network, and currently on the Alcohol, Drug Addiction & Mental Health Services Board of Cuyahoga County.
